Mission Statement
Welcome to the official Website of the World of Warcraft Guild "The Namesakes"! This
is the guild's fearless leader "Crusard". Our guild is on the RP server "Argent Dawn" on the US side. Our guild is unique as we are a guild of guilds. The first guild, "The Namesakes", is helmed by Ulfareht, a level 60 Paladin. The Second one is our level 70 raiding guild, "The Namesakian Raiders". The Raiders is currently ran by our Warlock lead, Krahnkg. Krahnkg is one of our founding guildies and has recently exploded onto the scene as the Raid authority. The Raiders is designed to be the guild that you graduate to after you have achieved level 70 (in the Namesakes) and have completed (or started) the Kara attunement chain. We also recruit straight into this guild as long as you meet the level and attunement requirements. These two guilds are tied together by a dedicated chat channel...so we don't feel disconnected. We also have our very own Ventrillo server that is sponsored by Forgoon; a level 70 hunter that is currently in Ultralisk raiding for loot (or so He says...lol) along with my son, Hairbo, who has also assisted the Raiders with his knowledge of Kara.
So where do I fit in? Well I started the Namesakes and I manage this website with Krahnkg's and Ulfareht's help. I am currently deployed to Iraq so my son plays my toon for Kara due to my "main healer" status. It is my mission to assist Spiritu and Visis in recruiting new membership and to keep this website updated. We welcome all new blood to any of our guilds and we are always recruiting for any number of different reason's...Raiding, questing, RP, PVP, Arena, twinking (though we do not claim them...lol), and for specialized reasons (professions, classes, and experience in new raid areas). We welcome you to our site and we encourage you to join our guild if you like what you see. Remember to "Keep your feet on the ground"! (unless you are on a flying mount, between flight points, or jumping / falling to your death!) ~Crusard
